Coyote Variants . Because of it's modular design, the Coyote can easily be converted to fill a number of roles. . The Coyote ACV is a prime example of how versatile a single basic chassis can be. First up is the Coyote-T, used for troop transport. The lighter armament allows for more cabin space taken up by ammo and targeting systems. Next is the Coyote-S, modified for air defense. Last, this variant was so heavily modified that it was given a new designation, the CM-131 Griffin. Using an advanced vertical MLRS, the Griffin can be used for artillery, or for anti-aircraft roles when deployed along a radar vehicle.
