Why?
A Brief History of Time Machines . When this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour... . The Dawn of ManOur early ancestors had a frequent habit of eating overripe, fermented fruit, passing out, and waking up hours later, so, in a way, they did invent a time machine. The tradition continues today in bars across the globe. The Ottoman Empire The Age of Piracy The Turn of the Twentieth CenturyThe awe of time travel probably isn't worth the extreme dizziness. The Present DayA blinding flash, and the time machine is gone. BONUS MATERIAL The Ottoman Empire setup: The Ottoman Empire machine:An accurate illustration of how much I struggled with the Ottoman machine. I'm still not completely satisfied.Yes, I was planning on incorporating an elephant. The Piracy machine:Wheeeeee! The Piracy set:The Piracy setup:The Twentieth Century machine:The Present Day machine: I am so done with this project. AMUSING NOTE FROM THE WORKBENCH: It was originally going to be "A Brief History of Jetpacks," but as soon as I tried making a monkey jetpack out of bananas, the whole thing went to hell. There's only so much you can do with jetpacks, anyway. ANOTHER AMUSING NOTE: I misspelled "century" very badly as I was writing all that. I switched the vowels. I got a good laugh out of it.
