Kinryu . Long Range Fighter Craft . COMPLETED--12/26/2007 This is the result of first building a fairly large engine and then trying to build a ship around it. The Kinryu is a long range fighter of some empire that I have yet to think of a name for. I was trying for functionality with the engine but wanted it to look nice as well. As far as the color goes, I'm a spaz for pearl gold and apologize for nothing! The engine has more than enough power to maintain speed while running shield generators (castle side wall pieces), life support and weapon systems. The non-cockpit accessible part of the engine is maintained by the small repair bot. The picture is crappy cause I was too lazy to get my dslr for these pics. Engine function can be monitored from inside the cockpit. The turtle-mine is a good example of my unnamed empire's fondness for making conventional weapons fancier than normal. Turtle-mines can go into battle on the backs of friendly fighters and jump off when the enemy is engaged. They can congregate into mine fields or jump ship to ship until a suitable target is found. The two lights keep the interior well lit. A sniper and an important government official (with ceremonial sword of war) disembark. When closed, the pilots visor displays a vast array of information on the HUD. This is the original engine. The ship could have been a lot bigger with this size engine just like Craig L says but I sort of ran out of steam and cut it short.
