Golden Bolt Soldiers . . The Golden Bolt Military Force prides itself with the superior quality of their men and women. Unlike other armies, they are divided into 3 classes. Infantry, Officer and Pilot. The main infantry of the Golden Bolt are tough troopers skilled in destroying mechs and vehicles. Titanium-Plastic armor, which is designed to repel shrapnel, makes up most of their uniform. High powered rifles that fire explosive rounds are the standard weapon, but other guns like pistols, chain guns and assault rifles can be used with skill. Displayed here is a squad leader; normal soldiers have no design on their helmets. Pilots have the most important jobs of all. They command the vehicle and mech forces of the Golden Bolt. The people of the Golden Bolt nation believe in using vehicles as opposed to infantry, so pilots are the better trained of the two. Driving a Mech takes a considerable amount of skill, and most pilots are trained for many years before being loosed on the battlefield. Lower Class pilots content themselves with tanks, fighters and bombers. Officers are basically Infantry that have been upgraded to a less risky situation. Lack of armor provides a moral boost the metal clad soldiers. Officers are trained with fighting skills and planning skills, giving them a brain boost over the average grunt. Shotguns are their favored weapon, since most of their fighting takes place in close quarters.
