Lost Oasis . . Long before the current era, before the disappearance of the Elves and Dwarves from the known world, The Ulnati ruled supreme. But their arrogance and lust for power brought about The Great Sandstorm, which brought an end to their civilization and the expansion of the Great Solhn Desert, the vast wasteland that now covers the western half of the continent. For thousands of years, the remnants of the Ulnati have adapted to an nomadic life, following what large desert game there is. 3 Ulnati nomads have wandered into a desert fortress in ruins and are in the process of deciding whether to stay and rebuild it, or press on. In its hayday, the fortress served to guard the oasis, probably built shortly after the sandstorm as a waystation to travelers and traders. Now only a lone tower remains, watching silently over a small exposed desert pool... Built for CCC XI
