~Anscard~ . . Anscard... He is a Guardian. Not the noble kind, and not the kind hungry for what it guards. But he guards his own self. He must protect himself in any and every way, or, so he fears, he will someday perish. He has created, for himself, a suit of metal. That Suit of metal can not be removed, but it aids Anscard greatly, it protects him, it guards him. He himself is almost like a living suit, for the creature on the inside of the suit is weak and deprived, it's fear has eaten itself up. Anscard is the suit, to protect the creature his mind used to inhabit. To protect what he used to be... Pictures: This project was a simple idea: Take a torso and cover it completely in silver armor, then take limbs and repeat the progress. It was very fun, especially since most of my silver pieces are blades, and also challenging, because I'm not very experienced with Bionicle. I am very proud of how it turned out. The sort of cloak-ish thing that doubles as legs. I did the torso and arms first, so by the time I got to this point, the only thing I really had left were a variety of swords and blades. So he got a spiky dress. The lower arm. It goes straight into an axe, and does not have an orange part in it, so that was a different process than the rest of the build. I really like the use of those weird Barraki shooter thingies as axe-blades... The upper arm. That is the only big orange gap on this guy. I really like the effect it has, though I did spend quite some time trying to cover up that blotch of orange. I ended up leaving it this way, because anything else looked awkward. The torso. This is the first part I made, and the covering up worked best here. All the hoses on this build are only connected securely from one or no end, and on an axle on the other, by the way. The Head... It is very obvious where I got the design from, but the Barraki-jaws on the sides give it an interesting effect. The back. The only thing I dislike here are the gears behind the joints of the lower arms, but there were no better covers for the joint-piece... The back of the dress. Only the upper leg of the frame is actually in there... The back of the upper arm. covered, but not really that nice... The back of the torso and head. See the piece connecting those spines? I tried out several blades before settling on the one stuck in there now. I really like the effect it has. Side shot. The back of the head gives the illusion of hair, and rather nicely so, too. Well, I think I already said everything below all the pictures, so I hope you enjoyed it!
