HNK . The Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb . I present you the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, "Hrvatsko narodno kazaliste", a neo-baroque building designed by the Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and Herman Helmer. These are the same architects that designed the Art Pavillion in Zagreb, presented here by my friend Matija Grguric. The theatre was ceremoniously opened by the emperor Franz Joseph I in 1895, after 16.5 months of work. The model has been built approximately in scale 1:42 (more or less minifig scale) and it is meant to be be part of Brikkelauget's layout and/or a standalone model on various exhibitions. The size of the whole model is 267 x 229 cm, while the building itself is about 170 x 100 x 78 cm. There has been no emperor ceremoniously opening this one, though. Please note! Unauthorized use of pictures below is not permitted, please contact me regarding the terms of usage.
