Hot rod . Motorized black hot rod with retractable roof. . 27 studs wide and 50 studs long. Weight: 956 grams. Powered by two L motors. M motor for steering and retractable roof control (function is altered by gearbox lever). Power Functions IR Receiver (V2) is positioned (hidden) under passenger seat. With raised roof Full independent suspension. Front tires from 8070 Supercar, and rear from 42000 Grand Prix Racer. Working V8 engine 7.4 V rechargeable battery box (8878), easy accessible. Dashboard from 9398 Crawler. Doors can be opened. From behind with raised roof. One of my goals was to make it as light as possible (to achieve better power to weight ratio), not compromising original idea of Hot rod with retractable roof, so now you are seeing, I think, fourth version of this project. Each version was lighter than previous one and Iím satisfied with the result. :) Also I was eager to experiment with two L motors from Crawler and to see what they can do for relatively light vehicle like this. Hope you enjoyed it... p.s. It has been blogged: TECHNIC GEARS
