1978 War of the Worlds Fighting Machine . The 1978 Fighting Machine seen on the album: Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. . Inspired by an 1978 albumcover: Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. This is the Fighting Machine. I had not much to go on, but I think I've got shape and proportions pretty good. Unfortunately, I don't have the right white bricks to make it even closer to the original. Who will do better?? Sight at 1 o' clock. 4 o' clock. 5 o' clock. 7 o' clock. Minifig view. The top. One of the tripodlegs and its connection to the body of the Fighting Machine. The foot of a Fighting Machine. Cheeting with the "eye of the Martians". it is taken from the 1953 movie The War of the Worlds. The front. To Jonathan & the others: the two round green things some of you think are the eyes, actually ARE the aliens. They don't have eyes, limbs or anything else. They control their Fightingmachines with their minds and feed on humanblood... The side. The back. A "falling" view. The massacre of mankind... UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
