LOM: A Spark is Lit . The Tale of Arian begins... . As the sun rose on the gloomy, and fateful day that would lead to the birth of a city, and the fall of another, not all were near the doomed city of Tomeu...
Yes, on this day general Nyxin of Mythron led his men on a hunt. A hunt for an outlaw.
Nyxin: Be on the look out men! He's close, I can feel it.
Suddenly a man dressed in light Mythronian armor ran out of the gloom: a messenger.
The messenger dodged through the soldiers, coming to a panting stop in front of the General.
Nyxin: What is this lad?! We are on a mission!
Messenger: *pant* *pant*
Nyxin: Well spit it out already!
Messenger: *pant* Sir! We've received *pant* word that outlaws and barbarians *pant* have been seen marching in thousand toward Tomeu!
Nyxin: Hm, this is dark news indeed.
As the messenger ran off Nyxin turned to the mounted Paladin beside him.
Nyxin: You there! Take all the men but three to help defend the city! I'll kill this outlaw myself.
Paladin: Yes sir!
The Paladin galloped off, most of the men marching after him. The general was left with only three of his men, and a deadly outlaw to hunt down.
Nyxin: Alright men! Fan out!
As the men searched for any sign of an outlaw, the general walked behind one of them towards the bridge.
Nyxin: Hmm... that almost sounds like... (shouting) Arrows! Get down!
The man in front of the general turned, only to find an arrow implant itself in his chest. The general brought his shield up just in time to block the arrow. The arrow struck into his shield.
The man struck by the arrow let out a scream as he collapsed to the ground, dying.
As the other two soldiers turned to see the chilling sight of their dying comrade an icy laugh broke out. The source of the laugh stepped forward out of the gloom, the famed outlaw, Rego Arian. Two other outlaws with bows were behind him.
Arian: Ha, ha, well what brings you here, General? (Stepping on and over the dead Mythronian) Oops. Well, he won't mind.
The general stepped back, and the other Mythronians stepped up behind him.
Nyxin: Outlaw scum! Today will be the last day you ever see!
Arian: Ooh, no need for such open hostility. We can all be friends here.
Nyxin: Well, maybe you should of asked him to be friends first (gesturing to the dead soldier)
Arian: Oh, did I do that? Well might as well do this too.
The outlaw snapped his fingers, and two outlaws ran up behind the Mythronians.
One of the Mythronians turned around just in time to find a trident stab into his throat.
As the general and other soldier turned around the second outlaw swung his axe, removing the soldier's stomach.
The General found himself surrounded.
He turned around to see an arrow find it's mark in a gap in his armor.
The general collapsed to the ground.
Arian: Well general, we could have been friends. Tsk, tsk, too bad for you.
The outlaws approached the door to the tower.
Arian: Mythronian fools! Never knew the treasure that was hidden right under their nose!
Arian let out a ferocious kick, and the door gave in. The outlaws disappeared into tower.
The outlaws reemerged, glad in ornate, ancient, armor. The sun gleamed on armor that hadn't seen the light of day for centuries.
Arian put on the helmet, spinning the ornate Greatsword in his hand.
Arian: Soon all Mythron shall know the name Rego Arian and tremble!
Nyxin: No... *gasp* you're a fool! *gasp* No one man can topple Mythron *gasp*
The Outlaw approached the General.
Arian: (whispering) Well, I can certainly try, can't I?
With that he swung his sword, and the General was no more.
Arian: So it begins...
Some additional, fig-less shots.
Love how this turned out. Hope you like the story. Don't worry I'll make a MOC explaining my switch to Rainos soon. ;)
