LOM: Secrets Ablaze - Tomeu's Defeat (UC) . My (small) entry into the LOM Universal Challenge, Tomeu's Defeat. Here we learn more about Isaak... sort of. . The day had begun simply. Isaak, with proof of his services, was to meet with a Mythronian Commander about enlisting in a group of 'specialists' that were Loyal to the Crown. That was Isaak's reason for returning to Tomeu. The day would end with Isaak and the Commander fleeing for their lives. In the middle of the meeting, Outlaws attacked. The invasion drove Isaak and the Commander, or Commander Terowin, away from the guard at Tomeu, forcing them to travel alone. Isaak had also lost his bag in the chaos. The ruined path was said to run all the way through the Mountains of Kord, and with the number of Outlaws on the roads, and the armies of Rainos everywhere surrounding Tomeu, it's not like Isaak had much of a choice. The two quickly agreed to attempt to make it to a military outpost on the other side. The two, however, knew that Bandits that were traveling to Tomeu along all routes. Commander Terowin, unfortunately, in one instant of time, learned that Isaak was not an ordinary citizen of Mythron. Isaak would curse himself for what he had done. While running, a Necromancer, most likely from Ranios, ambushed them. Isaak had reached back, and grabbed the torch's fire that Terowin held. Isaak swung his hand in an arch, and the fire followed. The Bandit reeled in horror as the fire came toward him, igniting a bush in the process. Isaak thought, in that moment of instinct, that displaying his skill would buy them time, leaving the attacker with his life, and third degree burns. If only he could have seen Terowin's face. A mix of worry and astonishment flashed on his face. This man would become an asset to Mythron, no matter how dangerous he was. But in a time of war, did that even matter? Builder's Notes LOM build number 2! So far, I've focused on one moment in time, not the entire action of the scene. Soon, however, more action will come, so hang in there! The path and ruined wall. I liked how the path turned out, and I'm quite the fan of stud built ones. The landscaping has improved IMO, but I still have a ways to go. Here we have the Necromancer's would-be minion, and a spider. Not much, just a small detail. Thanks for viewing! Critics, and Comments are appreciated! God Bless!
