Kavahrax . EBC 2013, R2. The Rahi of arsenic . Kavahrax are typically scavengers, but when food is scarce, they have been known to go after Matoran, and when one is sighted, Matoran have been known to evacuate the area. Some brave Matoran are known to hunt this species, which is valued for its meat. This particular Kavahrax was captured by the Makuta, to preform an experiment with arsenic. The experiment was labeled a failure, and the rahi was returned to its habitat. However, the results became evident later, as the rahi will now poison any Matoran it comes into contact with. The Matoran are not aware of this, however, and several have died after hunting this creature. For the Elemental Bionicle Contest 2013, Round 2. The theme for this round was to create a medium sized Rahi of arsenic. The color scheme represents the three common colors of arsenic: black, yellow, and metallic gray (or, in this case, silver). The idea for the head belongs to my sister. (She isn't on here.) Not some of my best work, but it's still okay. Feedback appreciated.
