Orthunator . (Or-thun-ah-tore) . On the mineral rich planet of Eos, the Helios corporation has set forth from earth to find new resources to sustain the empty earth until a new, viable planet can be found to populate. The Helios corporation use mechanical robots to carry out most tasks set outside of the structures which they have erected to live in during their operations on Eos. The planet, however, is a hostile place with savage creatures that won't be so forgiving for intruders. Bio: The Orthunator (Or-thun-ah-tore) are large, herbivorous creatures that roam the planes of Eos in search of new pastures to feed on. They appear to be large mammalian creatures but are in-fact amphibians. They can be seen diving deep underwater to graze on the low lying plant life on the sea bed, whether it be in shore or even up to a mile out. They have tough hides which are armoured by naturally thick skin and rely on long tendrils sprouting from the back of their head for an early alert system. These tendrils are actually eel parasites that latch onto the Orthunator during it's development stages. They continuously feed of the creatures blood and in-turn, they offer the alert system by reacting to pheromones in the air to detect other creatures within proximity to the Orthunator. Usually quite docile, smaller creatures can come up to them and even feed right next to them. Due to their great size though, when they are enraged or scared, they become a force to be reckoned with and their large tusks prove formidable weapons.
