J'Nek . "Infections spread...." . J'Nek was an ordinary Toa, fulfilling his destiny by using his superior abilities to help those in need. Unfortunately, one person he tried to help was an infected matoran who during a struggle, passed on the infection to J'Nek. Brought in and quarantined by his brethren, J'Nek's body was slowly twisted and contorted as his right side took on a new form. The infection was taken in through his right shoulder, so this was where it spread from. He now lives to hunt and infect other beings as the biological virus corrupts his mind. Another anti-toa that I actually had a lot of fun building. I really enjoyed working on the infected arm and leg aswel as the minor area around the right side of his chest. The normal (left) side of him was ok to build but nothing really new there. With his infected arm, I wanted it to be bulkier and appear larger than the right. I also contorted the proportions so that his would be thumb is now set near to his elbow and his remaining fingers are long claws. His leg was a bit different and I had to think a bit more about it. I ended up doing a normal-ish leg with the foot being partly system so that it looked a bit like his normal uninfected one, but on the outer side it's got claws so it's really only half his foot with the infection bursting through the side. Overal, even though it's a normal Toa form, I'm really happy with the way the infection came out on this guy and he's another anti-toa to add to the rest.
