The Jankori V1 . He's back, but not in the way you'd remember... . This is my entry to the contest The unity infinity circle group Before you start: So the specs for this contest was to either have a Ga-Matoran, a Toa of Water, or an ocean Rahi. The contest owner stressed the use of Glow-In-The-Dark and translucent Pieces, so I made sure to include them. I wanted something that would creep people out. Yet I also wanted something that was similar to "Treebeard" from The Lord of the Rings (I'm only half way through the trilogy, so don't spoil it for me!!!), because I loved him so much. As I built this, I thought I could bring back the Jankori, a pretty old and really lame MOC and make him epic. But the only things that are similar are the pincers, the spine, and the proportions. That's not something I mind so much. I also changed him as a character too; The old Jankori was just a mindless monster, whilst the new Jankori is a very old, vary strange Rahi. I apreciate the change, I hope you do, too. So... are you ready to meet... ...The Jankori? "The Jankori", an archaic title whose origin and meaning is unknown, is an old Rahi warrior in a large carnivorous form. Despite his extensive strength, The Jankori is a pensive creature, no longer in his prime. He is indifferent to the outside world and knows very little about many of the modern sapient species in the Bionicle Multiverse, though he has a vague knowledge of Toa after meeting Galia. The full extent of his powers are unknown. The Jankori originally looked humanoid, though there are no documents on his features, or if he wore a Kanohi or not. The details of his early life is unknown, though he led an army of shadow creatures to Racta Magna and conquered it easily. He spent many thousands of years in charge of the planet, constantly sending out armies of shadow creatures to invade new worlds. Legends say that he laughed in the face of death, quite literally; he engaged in friendly rivalry with Thanatos, the 'God of Death'. It is also rumoured that he worked on secret biological experiments, a product of which supposedly wanders Racta Magna to this day. However, once the Jankori had killed too many people with his armies and became detrimental to the balance of life and death, Thanatos had to seriously intervene. He bathed the Jankori in Mutagen from Karda Nui, weakening him and turning him into the monsterous form which he has now, and was cast into slumber. He was trapped inside a black void, a portal to which covered by a large seal. Many years later, Toa Galia accidently broke the seal and awoke the Jankori. His first reaction was to try and eat her, but she managed to talk her way out of it, making friends with the monster and teaching him about the modern world. He decided against re-conquering the planet, and instead decided to remain in the void. The Jankori currently resides in his psuedo-prison in contemplation and sleep, hidden away from the rest of the world. Here he is. If you skipped the above bit, and are wondering why he looks so different from his old version, look above. Deh back. It's wonderful how so little can cover so much :3 Compared to Scarox. Standing beside Tyranca and Ciaros That's all folks! And sorry, I lied. The HF reviews are coming soon, but I may or may not post something inbetween them, I don't know :P This version is outdated.
