CV80 Family . CV80: It only does everything. . Note: all the varients here were built with vehicular stealth in mind and therefore include active cammo features such as heat masking and chameleon-like optical stealth, allowing these vehicles to look be almost invisble to both the human eye and thermal imaging. This is the CV8035, an IFV model in the CV80 family. It's light-weight, well armored + NBC protection, has an APS, and can carry a good amount of solidiers to the battlefield with the firepower needed to back them up. Armament: 35mm Coilgun, 7.92mm machine gun, 2 quad-grenade launchers Armor: Classified composite, superior to MBTs from the earlly 2000's, resists 20 kilogram mines Engine: 1,206 hp Crew: 3+8 (11 if crammed) Speed: 90 km/h Range: 1,300 km Weight: 23 tons Width: 3.2 meters Height: 2.8 meters Length: 6.8 meters This is the CV8040, and is basically the same thing as the CV8035 except that it features a different turret. Armament: 40mm Coilgun, 7.92mm machine gun, 2 grenade launchers Armor: Classified composite, superior to MBTs from the earlly 2000's, resists 20 kilogram mines Engine: 1,206 hp Crew: 3+8 (11 if crammed) Speed: 90 km/h Range: 1,300 km Weight: 23 tons This is the CV80TC, an APC built around the CV80 chasis. It features new APS designs in the form of a new laser and a mini-missile launcher. Armament is reduced, but it can carry more men as a result. Armament: 7.92mm machine gun Armor: Classified composite, superior to MBTs from the earlly 2000's, resists 20 kilogram mines Engine: 1,206 hp Crew: 3+9 (12 if crammed) Speed: 90 km/h Range: 1,300 km Weight: 24 tons This is the CV80 Forward Command Vehicle, a command varient designed with extra communications equipments and setup for officers in the field to help direct our forces. They can also be used in a recon role if needed. Armament: 7.92mm machine gun Armor: Classified composite, superior to MBTs from the earlly 2000's, resists 20 kilogram mines Engine: 1,206 hp Crew: 3 + 6 Speed: 90 km/h Range: 1,300 km Weight: 24 tons This is the CV80120-T, a new tank destined to replace the tanks in our current inventory. It has been uparmored compared to the other models of the CV80, and has similiar levels of protection and firepower to our existing Daemon tanks but is smaller, lighter, faster, and stealthier. It remote-controlled turret features a powerful laser encased in a globe emitter capable of everything from anti-infantry, anti-armor, and even anti-air, making this a highly versitial vehicle. Armament: 120mm coilgun, 7.92mm machine gun , laser emitter Armor: Classified, superior to other models of the CV80 family Engine: 1,318 hp Crew: 3 Speed: 90 km/h Range: 1,300 km Weight: 26 tons This is the CV80TE, a varient designed escort tanks and other armored vehicles in battlefield situations. It is up-armmored just like the CV80120-T, and is armed with 2 35mm coilguns, a 7.92mm machine gun, 2 grenade launchers, and 4 missile launcher capable of accpeting a wide variety of warheads. Armament: 2x35mm coilguns, 7.92mm machine gun , 2 grenade launchers, 4 missile launchers Armor: Classified, superior to other models of the CV80 family Engine: 1,318 hp Crew: 3 Speed: 90 km/h Range: 1,300 km Weight: 26 tons This is the CV80AMOS (Advanced Mortar System), a new and innovative artillery platform capable of unparralled rates of fire due to it's twin 120mm rapid-fire coilguns. It may only have a range of roughly 37 KM, which is a good deal smaller than some of our other artillery, but this bad boy is still nothing to snease at. The twin coilguns are capable of 30 RPM bursts, allowing a multiple rounds simultaneous impact (MRSI) of 22 rounds all on one target. These rounds use smart technology and therefore correct themselves midflight to ensure they land directly on their targets. Direct-fire is an option, and the size and power of the rounds allows them to destroy most armored vehicles. Armament: 2x120mm coilguns Armor: Classified composite, superior to MBTs from the earlly 2000's, resists 20 kilogram mines Engine: 1,206 hp Crew: 3 Speed: 90 km/h Range: 1,300 km Weight: 24 tons This is the CV80MLS (Mounted Laser System), essentially the weapon of our Basilisk mounted on a new chasis with a few minor upgrades. The main reason for this decision was to make our logistics less complicated. The armament consists of a 25mm rapid-fire coilgun and a laser, both of which are quite effective at harming enemy aircraft, but can also be used agianst ground units in a pinch as well. There is also a 7.92mm machine gun for vehicular defense. Armament: 25 mm coilgun, multi purpose laser, 7.92mm machine gun Armor: Classified composite, superior to MBTs from the earlly 2000's, resists 20 kilogram mines Engine: 1,206 hp Crew: 3 Speed: 90 km/h Range: 1,300 km Weight: 24 tons *fourth wall* I need to give a big round of applause to Lego4Life for his help on this joint project. He's one of the world's best LDD builders and you should consider checking out his work if you haven't already. *fourth wall*
