SB-1 "Shoe Box" . The People's Republic of Tyranny's super sonic bomber. . When the PRT asked for a strategic bomber, aircraft designers turned not to other bombers for inspiration, but instead to a near invincible aircraft with a spotless combat record; the SR-71 Blackbird. With minimal wings, no tail, and thrust vectoring engines, the Shoe Box is capable of flying at up to Mach 2.7, and has a height ceiling of 80,000. However, it has to be below Mach 2 & at most at an altitude of 55,000 feet to safely release its payload of either bombs or a cruise missile. Should a SAM be launched against it, it can use it's thrust vectoring engines to out maneuver it. Here is the SB-1 inside it's hanger. Being taxied out by a TV. Engines can move to Thrust Vector. Bomb bay closed. Bomb bay open, with a nuclear cruise missile inside. When no other option for victory is presented, the PRT believes strongly in the "If I can't, no one can" philosophy. Side by side with the F/A-1 Hummingbird. Started at noon, it's up by 4 XD should hold the line while I make a better version. Enjoy!
