MA/BT-001 "The Stubborn Tick" . The People's Republic of Tyranny's Main Assault/Battle Tank . Please excuse the crummy wall XD most of my grey bricks are being used on another moc The PRT needed a very small, relatively cheap, and extremely durable tank that could operate alone for extended periods of time. This was the result. The Stubborn Tick got its name due to the fact that it is a small, resilient, and extremely annoying (for both friend & foe). Powered by: Solar energy Main weapon: a multi-stage coil-gun Defenses: 8 flare/tear gas launchers Armor: Classified Weight: classified Height: Classified Service Record: N/A Here we see the turret's rotational ability. While the gunner is very exposed, they are not necessary for the turret to operate. Should the gunner be killed, the driver can flip a switch, pointing the gun straight forward, and setting it to max power. While the driver lacks visibility, it's better than nothing. The solar panels are movable, allowing them, to an extent, to follow the sun. While they allow the tank to charge anywhere, they need to be regularly cleaned to prevent an obstruction of the sun's rays. A simple tread design. Crude, But it gets the job done. 4 of the 8 flare/tear gas launchers, as well as the optional forward armor. With this added to the tank, it can survive several rounds from even heavy cannons. The sides and back, however, can withstand only a few rounds from a medium gun. Yup, there's a guy in there! A pretty plain back =P I did have something guarding the gunner's back, but I lost it in the fray XD All in all, a solid 2-day build that should fulfill its role very well.
