Hellfire-Class Destroyer . . The Hellfire destroyer is our newest tactical naval warfare vessel. The Hellfire can engage land targets from long range with missiles, escort larger vessels, lead expeditionary task groups, and even hunt enemy submarines. The Hellfire is the EFCF’s latest do-it-all weapon in our naval arsenal. This baby is armed with a dual 9” coilgun accelerated cannon turret and a total of 40 VLS tubes on board for offensive firepower as well as 2 dual 65mm autocannons and 2 quad rail missile launchers for salvos of up to 8 missiles, and 2 Dual 50mm Sluger Auto-Coilgun. For defenses, it carries 13 ALDS emitters, 3 55mm Phalanx Mk XXII Compound CIWS guns, 2 dual 44mm Bofurs AA cannons, 16 MK 4 Depth Charges for anti-Submarine capabilities, and 6 7.62 mg stations. Ton for ton, this ship is excellently armed for its size and it has an attitude to match. Any enemy ships that find themselves swarmed by Hellfire destroyers should fly the white flag and make for the lifeboats.
