M82A1 (Working) . I proudly present you the M82A1! This is a working replica. I've had a hard time building this gun, but I'm very proud of it. I hope you enjoy it as much is I do! Instructions are available. . The M82A1 (or Model 82A1)in the first model in the M82 series of Barrett Firearms. It is a semi-automatic long range sniping rifle, firing a .50 calibre round. This replica is almost completely made out of LEGOs, exept for the rubber bands in the gun. It has a scope, folding bipod and a 8 round magazine. A video of the gun in action. First some 'epic' pictures: Different options for sights: Scope (for long range assistance) No sights (useless). Iron sights (flip up). The stock (very comfortable). Center part of the gun, with the charging handle, pistol and magazine. Air vents. Barrel and muzzle break. 8 round magazine (I know it's a bit small, but I ran out of bricks). Close-up of the pistol grip. Different sights and FPS Views.: The scope (thanks to Pybrick for the great design). The scope from the side. The bipod, you can use it on any surface you want! How it's attached. A very difficult part was to prevent it from slipping away. I came up with this solution, I think it's the best way of dealing with the problem. The rail on top of the gun and the front part of the iron sights. The rear part of the iron sights. The top taken off the gun revealing the mechanism. This is the bolt seen from above. The hammer. The bolt and hammer removed. You can see the magazine. One last look at this awesome gun! That's it for now, please tell me what you think! Instructions are available, please give me your email address in a comment and like this creation. I need to ask you something: what gun should I make next??? I'm out of ideas! I has to be a already existing gun, that I haven't replicated.
