LOM: The Troll Bridge . The second adventure of the outlaw Landrian, this time on his way to Heartfire Inn! . A link to the Lands of Mythron group. I was traveling to the Heartfire Inn where I heard rumors about a large outlaw meeting, when I came upon a bridge. On the bridge there was a large chest. When me and my horse, Steadfast, walked toward it, a hideous troll holding a huge spear appeared, picked up the chest, and screamed, "NO ONE WILL STEAL MY TREASURE!" and swung his spear at us. One false step and you would be sent sprawling into the deadly rocky river below. I made sure that me and Steadfast would be stuck to the ground so as to not fall in. As the troll swung his spear, Steadfast lurched back on his hind-legs to avoid getting cleaved across his neck. The overgrowth from which we had come felt as if it was growing all over your leg so it could throw you off the edge. After knocking the troll off his bridge so we could cross, we found the chest where we saw it before. The troll must've dropped it when he fell. I picked up the chest and strapped it onto Steadfast's back. "Oh well," I thought "Might as well take it. It means more ale for me when I get to the inn!" Back to the writer. I'm really starting to enjoy building medieval creations. This bridge was a pleasure to design. The floor of the bridge was also fun to design. It gives kind of a stony feel to it. I like it. And so, Landrian's adventure continues....
