Cydrone . "Probability that you will get out alive at 1%" . Obligatory shot of the original Cydrone head designed by BioRockDude. Cydrone is a state of the art machine that went rogue and is now currently using it's 'abilities' to steal. It is a master criminal but this is often counteracted by its enormous ego. It fancies itself the greatest criminal in all existence and often flaunts this by boasting about how great it is. But this again is also counteracted by the fact that it suceeds in all of its endevours because of it's egotistical behaviour. It has absoloute confidence in itself to perform and this boosts its efficiency. Not only does it's mainframe give it confidence and so able to perform well, being a machine, he has on-board devices that can be utilised at will which include: -A blade for close quarters combat and as a sharp tool. -A grappling hook for scaling difficult areas and emergency retreats. -A laser cutter. -A hacking tool to open doors and gather information from data containment systems. After revamp week finished, I decided to see some of BioRockDude's skits and animations as I alwayas found them amusing, when I came across a unit he called Cydrone. At first I thought what a stupid head design with the nuva chestplate as a helm but then it presented a sort of mini-challenge. Take the concept of the Cydrone and do an interpretation of it. I particularly liked this idea as I wasn't fond of the head at all but wanted to make itnpleasing in my own unique way but also by sticking to the crucial nuva chestplate design. I just reversed the eyes and rounded the overal look to make it more appealing. I decided to make it a full, individual character rather than just some 'off-the-rack' unit. The criminal, egotist persona was actually inspired by the villain DAVE in the batman cartoon episode 'Gotham's Ultimate Criminal Mastermind'. The on-board weaponary was just an attempt to try something different and to also give him more background to give this character an edge. Well I'm very happy with how this came out and think that this is another successful redo of someone elses moc but always with a Fenrek twist.
