Taurus . Second of my zodiac-inspired series (at last!). This time its my own sign, and the second House of the Zodiac: Taurus .
Taurus, the Bull, is the second of the twelve Houses of the Zodiac. Its element is Earth. According to Greek legend, the constellation represents the form in wich Zeus took disguise in order to abduct the princess Europa, wich he was enamorated with. One other mythology that is also (although more rarely) associated with it is the story of Cerus, an angry and powerful bull that, with the help of the goddess Persefone, learned how to be patient and use his strenght wisely.
4th Dimension Commentary: So yeah, here comes another one. You might have noticed by the text above that I've done a bit more of research this time :P Anyway, with this one, I obviously had to make a Minotaur. It just seemed like the most correct choice... Plus, I always wanted to make one. And yeah, a huge-bass hammer also seemed like the most correct choice for a weapon.
Its kinda important to notice that I decided to stablish some general guidelines for the colors of this series, so, instead of making a long overcomplicated explanation, let me just exemplify it: notice that, just as I made with Aries, there is two main colors, one that is commonly used to represent such sign (red in the first one and brown here in Taurus), and one that was pretty much an arbitrary choice of mine (white and black, respectively). Also, just as Aries was 'crowned' with silver in his forehead, Taurus is 'crowned' with white horns, both colors that are not part of the main scheme, and are there just to give some contrasting highlights. Finally, both have small bits of trans-pieces in them (not counting their actual eyes), trans-red pieces for Aries and trans-dark green ones for Taurus. These pieces will be used troughout the series to represent the zodiacal elements of the Warrios, so expect every Earth sign, for example, to have trans-green bits somewhere in them. I am also thinking of giving all Warriors a staff-like weapon, but I'm not so sure about that yet...
Aaand that's about it, folks! Hope you've enjoyedthe tour and stay tuned for more!
