Supermarine Spitfire MK. IXc . The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries throughout the Second World War. The Spitfire continued to be used as a front line fighter and in secondary roles into the 1950s. It was produced in greater numbers than any other British aircraft and was the only British fighter in continuous production throughout the war. this is a slightly historically inaccurate model of the spitfire IXc. . There are several inaccuracies in this model. they include only three blades on the prop instead of 4, only three of those piston thingies on the side of the engine, the cockpit is too big, and one more. (note: this is not counting studs on top of the wings, or lack of markings!) whoever finds it gets 10 comments! warming up on the porch railing. giant guinea fowl, oh my! here you can see the full warload of 8 60lb. rockets, and 1 500lb. bomb. unfortunately, this model is quite fragile, especially around the wings. this occurred in a mod when I made the fuselage longer and had to increase the wing size consequentially.
