NSM - Wave 3 - Whakarou . In a reconstructed Spherus Magna, the heroes we all know are long gone, and their stories no more than legends. The society is split up, with several guilds spread trought the planet. From five to five years, their best warriors gather on the great Nui Tournament, a competition in the molds of the old Glatorian tournaments to prove wich tribe is the greatest. Behind this scene of glory, however, intrigue and conspiracy lurks. .
A proud warrior, Whakarou is a member of the Light Guild, a society of the descendants of the ancient Light Matoran, very reverent of the past and with the dream of unlocking the secret to bringing the Elemental powers and the Toa back to existence.
Like all members of the Guild, he wears a replica of an old Kanohi as a tribute to his ancestors. he was trained since very early to be a warrior and emmisary of his tribe, learning both the arts of combat and diplomacy.
His personality rflects the one of his Guild, in a certain way. Like them, he is fierce in battle, but always noble in attitude and never lacking in respect for his opponents, being one of the few competitors without any particular rivalry, always collecting more friendships than grievances.
An expert with the spear, his weapon is the so-called Spirit Arrow, a fine weapon rumored to have special electric properties. He also caries a broad shield named Wall of Valor, made of the extremely rare and precious protosteel.
4th wall thingies: Oh hey! Well, this one here began with a tablescrap of a shield, but since I didn't want to end this 3rd wave with only two MOCs, it kinda evolved to an actual something. I'm not fully satisfied with it, specially the torso, but I also didn't want to spend much more time and effort on it, particularly after building something more complex like Aries. So yeah, since I was satisfied enough with it, I just called it a day. The name for it came from fusing the maori words "pūrou"(to spear)and "whakanaiti" (knight).
Aaand thats it, folks! The last of this 3rd wave of the NSM theme. Hope you enjoyed it and leave a comment or so!
Thank you and keep building!
