SpaceX Industries Moon Rover . Built for Lego FebRovery on Flickr. For the entire month of February, you build lunar rovers; this is my contribution. . Flickr BrickArms Forums When mankind returned to the Moon in 2030, the colonization of the celestial body was only a few years off. With cheap living spaces, the common man could easily afford to own their own part of the Moon. With more and more colonists arriving and a need for mass transport, NASA and the ESA (along with other various space programs) commissioned rocket company SpaceX to develop a cheap rover that could be used by the masses on the Moon. By 2034, the SpaceX Moon Rover was mass produced and sold to colonists of the Moon at a low price! Same as main photo. View on Flickr for best quality! Close-up. ____________________________________________________ Pics of the rover itself: Front. Back After I got these Classic Space sets, I felt like I needed to make a modern moon buggy with them. I used a lot of BrickArms u-clips to get the flex tubing to stay, and used a couple of monopods as well. I'm satisfied with this little buggy. The astronaut uses a Brickforge Powered Assault helmet and visor and black Brickforge gauntlets. Constructive criticism and comments/ratings are appreciated. KP out!
