Elvish City WIP (LDD) . a new elvish city I've been working on. it started with trying to create a curved bridge, and got out of control. . The main pic is an overview, and has already changed, and probably will a few more times before I like the layout
This pic is of the bridge that inspired the build. notice it doesn't curve. didn't quite fix that part yet. but what it lacks in curves, it makes up for in columns, arches, and the cool guard rails. I literally worked for an hour to get those the way I like, and I even got my girlfriend's opinion to help decide on the design
This is a cool round building I've taken to calling the turban. officially it is the king's court. I love the way it turned out

a ship. it turned out a little too close to a viking ship, but it is slightly different. this will probably change with time.
statue. I haven't decided who this statue is of, what it is named, or its significance. I do know that I am dissatisfied, so if anyone is good at building statues, I would love some advice.
the bell tower. I was experimenting with a two-story column idea, and I thought, why not add a roof and bell???

the marketplace halls. this is one of the main buildings. inside is a ton of shops. the building resembles a roman/greek temple on accident, but I'm pleased with it.

a building. not sure of its purpose. not too pleased with it, but it fills space well.
the view I despise of the unnamed building. it was supposed to look like flying buttresses, but turned out too loopy.

expect more to come with this. it has already changed a lot since these pics were taken. i had experimented with making a cliff and a bay, but I'm to lazy to make an LDD cliff for now. I also hope to make a palace, or at least a facade or gate. give me your opinions as school is leeching my creativity.
*EDIT* I'm currently about halfway through my next big expansion in this build. I'm creating an epic palace structure. I've also entirely scrapped the cliff, put on a plain colored base, scrapped that too, and started a new sector of the city. next time you see it it will look MUCH different. I'm hoping the palace will be finished by the end of April so I can get to the docks.
