Why?
MELO R3: Kenton Lanier vs. Disco 86: Passage of the Marshes . Barad-Dur Bracket . This is my 3rd round entry to the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics. My opponent is Disco 86 (his entry), and our category was: Passage of the Marshes: With the exception of some freakish lights, a bunch of dead bodies, and an obsessed/double-minded guide...it's your typical swamp! Show us the adventures of Frodo, Sam, and Gollum as they traverse THE DEAD MARSHES!!! *Beethoven's 5th* The new olive green color worked very well for the color scheme I was going for. "Don't follow the lights!" -Gollum I know it's a little hard to see, but there are actually some of the dead bodies under the water; in this case, a Numenorian soldier. Frodo staring at an elf in the water. Another Numenorian soldier. I was a little bored with the tree designs I've used before, so I decided to give one of Mark Erickson's designs a try. I followed his Falworth Tree Design Tutorial, and customized it for the shape and color scheme I wanted. Thanks for sharing your design, Mark! Back view of the tree. I also have a couple WIP photos, showing how I did the snot bricks for the water. I'll add them later (after this round is over). Thanks for viewing!
