Legionnaires! Charge! . A moc depicting a Roman army marching into Greek lands and them fighting along a river. The Romans have powerful cavalry and even a war elephant, but the greeks deploy a Phalnx, The tank of the ancient world.Who will win? . *note- some of the minifigures are based on Rome total war, an awesome video game. I included different colored Romans, based on families, like the game, to give a bit of variety.) An aerial view of the battle. The Greek's battle lines Some of the Greek cavalry force hopes to swing around from the Roman Flanks. The Hoplites have quickly formed a Phalanx, Locking there shields together and using there spears as skewers. The Roman battle line A mercenary war elephant, probably Selucid or Carthaginian, fighting for the Romans. A small archer force aims at the Greeks. The General, Octavius Amulius A small group of Romans carry a a Scorpion, which is to be assembled as it's deployed. A shot of the Ballsita I have a better one this one is simple so it could be assembled for this MOC. Another pic of the Phalanx, showing the second row. The small monument to Poseidon, or some minor river god. And two arches where the water flows out. A statue, of Perseus, or Achillies methinks based on the sheild. A destroyed statue on the other side. ******Minifigs******* As the minifigs were the main focus on this moc, i included detailed pictures. Here is my Roman (Julii Family) legionaires including the general in the front (not a Centurion) An aerial viw to see the amount of Legionaires, 18 in total. The general The Greel Hoplites in a phalanx 2nd row of the phalanx. The mercenary unit. Including a Cataphract (Guy on the horse.) that isn't pictured in the moc. Two barbarin falxmen and a gladiator. Roman (Scipii) Archers Roman (Brutii) Scrpion Crew. Mercenary War elephant The carriage on it's back The archers in the carriage. Roman (SPQR) Cavalry. Greek Companion cavalry (Actually Macedonian, but whatever :3) Dismounted I designed the decals, so I thought I would include a picture. Greek Heavy Chariot The Greek General Dimitrios Stephani Without figs the river and waterfall like thing Well thats it. Sorry for not posting much, I got a new laptop, (macbook air) and the uploader was spazzy for a while. But i got it working. Hope to post more soon!
