Neo-Classic Space Long Range Explorer Shuttle . I decided to keep this one short and sweet. Enjoy! . Designed for travelling amongst remote planets, moons and asteroids, the primary mission of this one man ship is to conduct orbital mineral surveys with its belly mounted radar dish. The pilot would then guide deep space mining teams to extract any valuable ore deposits. She packs dual lasers cannons purely for “defensive” purposes which are tied to a state of the art targeting system. Posessing such equipment while mounting a pair of massive thrusters for high speed maneuvers on such a small craft have some critics questioning whether this design may have been secretly built for military applications, but that would be ridiculous, riiiiiiiiight? In any event the versatility of this ship guarantees its place in space exploration for years to come. 4th Wall: My original intention was to enter this in the “My Classic Space Pocket Money Contest.” However after realizing my build weighed in over 140 bricks (most of which are hidden internally holding this thing together) I tried stripping it down to make the cut. Unfortunately it looked so cheesy that I simply decided to keep as it is even though it no longer qualified for the contest. Easy come, easy go. Also, I need to give credit to Jon B. because I tried to use some of his control panel and seat designs here. Naturally, his are still way better but these modified versions work pretty well in this case.
