GAIA - 'Pandora' . A neat little fighter plane... . Circa 4800 AD, the Pandora was a war plane designed to fly at super high altitude and monitor planetary orbits. Equipped with the necessary firepower to do so, it was charged with shooting down any unwelcome objects orbiting or preparing to enter atmosphere. Though several types were released over the years, they all failed to reach vacuum capability, this feat being achieved by a human fighter for the first time by the 'Condor' almost a thousand years later. Still, these birds kept human skies safe for centuries. Oddly, it gets a technical classification as a GAIA fighter due to an unlikely call to service on the cash strapped planet of Abaxus prime. A French colonial world, the locals had always taken pride in their well stocked war museum filled with lovingly restored war machines of yesteryear. When the Alien War broke out so too did the ancient the Pandora/Orbital Defense Fighter. High up in the night sky, this pilot almost thinks he is in space!
