cAAARRRcass island. . A pirate's life for me: Build a scene showing pirates doing what pirates do. Are they having a swash buckling battle with another vessel on the high seas? Drunken nights at the port town? Ransacking a small coastal village? Show us your best pirate scene!
. The best part of this contest is, when you're lucky enough, you never know what cathegory is going to hit you in the next round. Though my sigfiggy has a classic pirate head I've never built in the pirates theme before and to be honoust: I wasn't planning either. But this one's against Tom Remy. And from what I've seen in his entries, he's going all out in each and every one of them. So, I hope I've put something worthy of competition out here?! I tried to keep it as classic as possible, keeping faithfull to the ones I've seen when I was a kid.
So here it is; the crew of the Black Barnacle have come to hide their loot on Carcass Island...
"Arrr, be sure we take land on the left side of the isle, mateys! Or we be in a great deal 'o trouble, I tell ya!"
"Now, be quick, ye scarvy dawgs! Unload the treasure!"
" 'n take special care of our friend here, it's very important we keep 'm alive...for now...har,har,har!"
"You lot go ahead 'n take the gold up while we help our safeguard "to the other side", arr harhar, I'm so funny."
"Oh, why we'd be always doing the hard work, while the capt'n he'll be chattin' with them landrats, eh?
"Ye be lucky you do the hard work. Last time he went "talkin" 'e lost a hand and a leg."
*gulp*"Did he, now?"
"Ay."
"Now you walk the plank 'n don't get any funny idea's, d'ya hear? This river's full o' piranha."
"Uhm, parlé?"
"That's right, boys! We brought y'all some lunch! That'll keep ya busy for a while... har, hargh, har!"
"Hurr, whog, gagh."
"Wor, bagh, wug, sausage!"
"Yuk."
"Oooh, there be two things that make me hands itch for more; a fresh maid in the harbor and a trove full o' sparklin' gold..."
"Honey, I'm home!"

And here's what I work with as a lighting set up. No lightbox, no photoshopping or editing; just a gazillion of plain pictures and a selection of the 26 best ones.
Well this one was sure a fun build and no matter what the outcome of this round is, Carcass Isle won't be deconstructed. My son Lennaert is having so much fun with it, especially the cannibal villages is a good playable feature.
