Why?
MIT Round 2: Lego Builder Senior vs. daevster - The Thinker . Sculpture: Leonardo did the Venus De Milo, Auguste Rodin gave us The Thinker. What will you give us? Produce a sculpture worthy of The Louvre. Choose a famous statue and show us your brick built version. Check out the Brickfilm at the end! . My worthy opponent and his entry Link to the MIT I had originally wanted to build a large sculpture of The Thinker, but I was quick to realize that it was near impossible because of my brick supply and the complications that comes with creating sculptures at that size. So, I settled for miniland style. The Thinker is a 1902 marble sculpture by Auguste Rodin which depicts a man in deep meditation as he battles powerful internal struggles. It has also become an icon of philosophy. Here is a photo of the sculpture. Since I haven't filmed a stop motion video in a while, I thought that I would do so. To the judges: I wasn't sure if animations are okay, but just view it as an addition, having nothing to do with the build. Thanks! A behind-the-scene shot. Thanks to the judges and may the best build win! MOC by Lego Builder Senior
