Synth . MIT Round 2 Master Shifu Leo J vs Luke Johannesen. An entry for the 2012 MIT, Round 2 . Opponent: Luke Johannesen Link back to the 2012 MIT Category: "Life size object: Choose a real life object (anything you wish) and build it in brick! Please include a picture of yourself, or someone you’ve conned into helping you, with the object so that we can see the proper size." Bob Moog has the "Little Phatty" and Dave Smith has the "MoPho". But enough of the synthesizer pioneers. I bring you the Shifu "Girth" ... on the other hand, scratch that ... This prototype synthesizer was inspired by 25-key synths like the Arturia MiniBrute. Unfortunately, I only have enough pieces for 24 keys ... Hmmm, maybe I should call this synth "MidgetBrute" ... moving on ... Power indicator, power switch, and master volume knob. Sliders and buttons. Knobs, knobs, and more knobs. Keyboard. Back (just for Kelso). Oh, you want me to touch it? The synth, I mean ... Adjusting the volume. Pushing a button. Setting the slider. Fondling the knobs ... that did not come out right ... That's F minor for y'all. Pluggin' it (Shut it, Phippy). Synthesizer group shot. Mandatory pose with the MOC. Go ahead. Tickle some ivories. XD
