Kamov Ka-50 Hokum Attack Helicopter . I was messing around with LDD for a couple hours trying to make a reasonable model of a Ka-50. I'm pretty happy with it. . Nose shot: notice the chin radome and interchangeable wing stores. Side view: I hate those rear wheels but I couldn't think of a better alternative in LDD. Landing gear is retractable. In-flight with landing gear retracted. Belly Top view: twin rotors Port side A peek in the cockpit: space for one minifig pilot (even though the helicopter isn't exactly minifig scale, it's pretty close) The helicopter is armed with 2 S-8 rocket pods and 2 APU-6 missile racks (12 missiles) on underwing hardpoints and a starboard side-mounted 30mm Shipunov 2A42 cannon. The cover picture has the best view of the main armament. I also built some interchangeable stores for the wing hardpoints: an ECM pod, external fuel tank, Kh-25 air-to-surface missile, and AA-11 Archer air-to-air missile. I realized I didn't include the tilt-rotor option which would make it more realistic. That's a pretty simple fix in LDD but the overall look of the helicopter wouldn't change much.
