Why?
Rock Crawler WIP . This is my latest attempt at a 3 link suspension rock crawler. I put drive shafts on this one. I gave up on the telescoping drive shaft and decided on a solid shaft. Tried to build it without shocks but there was WAY too much lateral movement so the shocks had to go on. The shocks cut the travel significantly but that's ok. I cant figure out how to put a steering shaft on it though. With the free floating axle it's hard to get the geometry right. The drive shafts are just connected to each other in the chassis. No drive gear or motor yet. Any suggestions on hooking up the steering would be great! Don't forget to comment if you have an opinion. That's the only way to be heard! .
