Why?
M.O. Round 1 - Chilli Night . . My Round 1 entry for the 2012 MocOlympics. Category: Ring of Fire I suggest listening to the song whilst looking at this moc: Ring of Fire. The song Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash is about love. My creation is not. The song has a Mexican feel to it so this just felt right. I present to you Chilli Night. I am not going to explain this any further so if you do not get it then that is probably for the best. But lets just say “it burns burns burns the ring of fire, the ring of fire”. The 9 x 9 base. A one plate 'shadow gap' gives the impression that the base is floating. I am sure there is a joke in there somewhere ;). View of the rear showing the simple SNOT techniques used to attach the sink, toilet and cistern. As you can see I ran out of 1 x something tan bricks so I had to use 2 x something bricks. The poor victim. Ok I apologise for the uncouth toilet humour but I just couldn’t resist it. I absolutely love the song, it has cult status and as soon as I read the categories it pooped (sorry popped) into my head, and I couldn’t build anything else. Believe it or not it took me two nights to build this. I tried many variations including his trousers (pants) being blown off but it felt too cluttered. I also had a more detailed bathroom wall design but again it was just too busy. So I kept it simple. I hope you like. :D
