Red Mech . I built this mech as a response to my Blue Mech. Maybe they're fighting against each other, or maybe they're fighting together... .
Shield side arm. I tried to make the shield look more as part of the arm, rather than a hand holding it.
A back shot. Ignore the firefighter logo if you wish - I didn't have another blank one, but i thought it could lead to some interesting story lines...a firefighter with a laser cannon.
Cannon arm side shot. Actually, the entire arm sprung from the idea of using a the net firing piece as a cannon. Therefore, the arm (and the rest of the body, unfortunately) had to be much beefier. This extra weight led to the legs collapsing - a lot.
in an effort to solve my weak joints problems, I have taken lots of photos for you, yes you, to review. Please review these photos and let me know if you think that it's the legs that are wrong, or the body is just too heavy. It should be clear what the pieces I used are, but feel free to ask if need be.
I couldn't resist throwing these in. They looked so perfect, and fit the situation perfectly, too.
The shoulder cannon. I am pretty happy with how it came out. I was considering two at one point, but decided to stick with just one.
And finally, the minifig. It's always a nice break from structure to sit down and fiddle with all the hundreds of torsos, hundreds of heads, and tens of hundreds of accessories.
