Post-Apoc Gas Station . So I've been workin' on this for the last two weeks... My friend (the only TFOL I personally know :P) and I were talking about building some zombie/apoc stuff, and then I had one of those I-can't-sleep-because-I-have-too-many-awesome-ideas-floaing-in-the-brain episodes, and then this was the final result! Hope you like it! . I wanted to build a gas station that's all the rage with my friends (dirt-cheap fountain drinks!), and I decided to feature a bunch of my non-Lego buddies in it to amuse and inspire them... Guess I still harbor a little hope for them in their miserable dark-ages... :) Anyway, I doubt anybody here would really care about the inside humor in this, but I still thought this would worth posting, since this is one of my-- if not THE-- largest MOC I've ever built.
Here we go...
So this is essentially the premise: Me and my TFOL buddy, Josh (center guy who's rockin' the Napoleon look) have taken charge during the zombie apocalypse and started a new regime to protect all of the survivors; We have set up our base at a run-down gas station, and are currently trying to hold out against the zombie horde until the US Military shows up to rescue us... Here Josh leads a charge against an oncoming undead.
This guy is presumably the first of many who will attempt to sack our fort.
A paparazzi. We all know one of 'em.
So one of my friends drives an old Buick Park Avenue that he's oh-so proud of, and we all like to give him grief about it... So I got the idea to bash his ride a little here: Here we see him trying to fix his Buick, which-- during his free time-- he has converted into a HumVee-esque vehicle which he intends to fight the zombies with. I call it... the "Bui-Vee"!

So while Josh is in charge of the garrison, I am responsible for managing our inventory, party planning, and other things like that. Here I am, performing my... administrative duties.

I'm really happy with how I did the hoses: I used a rope piece like the one on the left, looped it under the road, and then ran each end through a pump. :D

And finally... a Bui-Vee encore. This might be my favorite part of the MOC; one of the funnest things I've ever built.
