Dandar: My First Microscale Build . Trying to learn Microbuild techniques. . The other day I wanted to try something I had never done before. Since my dad had bought two gallon-bags full of gray and bley pieces, I decided to try something I had always wanted to do: Micro-Scale Cities. The point of building this was to learn techniques for microscale more than worry about aesthetics, so my grays and bleys are mixed indiscriminately. Also the smallest piece in the brick collection my dad had was a 1x3 plate, so I had little to work with. Still it turned out pretty well. The full build. From above. The smallest building. I feel it has some use as a theater, but I don't know why. It's definitely not because of its appearance. I wanted to stagger the building like that to see how it would look. It looks very futurey. I think I will use this design in the future. Above view I call this one Philcade, because it reminded me of a description of it I read in a book. Yeah, it looks nothing like the original, but I still call it that. It is probably my favorite building. This building is a dock for spaceships, inspired by this MOC. Mine is extremely simple, but I learned how to cantilever a lot better with it. The first building I built for this city, and my first ever attempt of studs-not-on-top building. The building ended up crazier than I thought it would, but I think it looks cool. There isn't much to this building, but YUCK! That color mix looks awful! This was the last building I built. Ugly coloring aside, it was the most complicated to build. I don't quite like how it turned out. Thank you for reading this! Please Comment and Rate!
