Batmobile Tumbler V1.1 (4-Wide) . A redesign of my 4-wide Batmobile Tumbler from the Chris Nolan Batman movies. . This is almost a complete redesign of my 4-wide Tumbler. I dismantled it completely more than once during the design process. But in the end some main design element became the same as before. Front left view. Credits for the side panels again to George G. He was the first one to use them on his Micro Tumbler Side view: I moved the side windows 1 stud to the front to get closer to the real model. I don't know who was first to use 1x2 rollbars and 1x2 plates this way. I've seen them first on the V8 engine of Hot Rod's Deuce Roadster. I also moved the windscreen a little more to the front. Rear right view: I changed the jet turbine and used the rocket part I used on the other Batmobiles. I think it looks better this way. Bird's eye view: Just for fun... Bonus picture: All these parts have been used during the redesign process. The Tumbler is my only model I haven't designed in LDD first. I don't know why, but for this one the real bricks worked better than the virtual ones. So I don't have an LDD LXF file of it, yet. OK, and now let's have some extra fun :-)) It's time for... - THE DARK TRADE-OFF - "Oh yes, I really love these rides...!" "Ahem, me too ..." "Oh no, not you again! I've already told you on the holophone that the Batmobiles are for the Dark Knight, not for some Dark Lord!" "You will give me one NOW!" "No, I won't!" "Hey, what's that?" "That's my Sith Blocker™! It blocks the force and light saber emitter crystals at the same time. My friend Lucius got the original Ysalamiri Tech™ drawings from his friend George from San Franscisco. "OK, plan B, then. How do you think about a trade-off?" "Hmm, maybe. What do you have to offer?" "I'm glad you asked. I've got this almost new Sith Tech™ hover bike. It has a nice light saber holder which will work fine with your bat toys, too. And as I know your preferences I've already painted it black." "Well I have to admit, it really looks cool! I think you can have the old one for it, the 1989 model." "Deal!" "Yeah, I really like it. I'll call it the Batscooter." "And I'll call this one the Sithmobile." - THE END - (... Oh no, I'm such a nerd ...) :-)) So this is V1.1 of my 4-wide LEGO Batmobile Tumbler from the Chris Nolan movies. I hope you like it :-))
