Why?
Octan refinery . A refinery for space oil... yeah, space oil! . Alpha Sigma 3 was a planet with abundant oil producing bacteria, so successful was this life form that after millions of years the planet was covered in huge lakes and seas of oil. Unfortunately the planet was hit by a massive meteorite that smashed it to pieces. Humanity arrived hundreds of thousands of years later and discovered the seas of oil had frozen into asteroids of all sizes made almost entirely of crude oil. Soon the petroleum companies arrived, refineries were set up on a nearby Mars like planet and the mining of the asteroids began! This is one of those refineries. Doesn't it make you proud to think of all the benefits of oil based economies that humanity is taking to the stars! Built: 2006 Status: Dissembled Is this North Haverbrook? Oil companies, like Octan, have great big... spheres. We got a convoy! Doesn't the gun look heavy? Bevis and Butthead of the mecha world... Yay! Classic Space! A depressing journey to work with a view of the refinery... still at least all the red makes it look pretty!
