G.A.I.A - "Big Blue" . This one's for you Parrington! A big blue/red fighter! . The "Big Blue" or Heavy Aero-Space Fighter, is a prime example of an Earth-born fighter. The Big Blue carries several weapon systems, the most prominent is the central cannon. This cannon fires large explosive shells, that quickly punch through armor, and detonate moments after for maximum effect. This cannon is flanked on either side by two clusters of guns, five in each, of two different sizes. These guns fire in quick succession to easily cover the target area and shred opponents. Lastly the fighter is armed with four missiles, two high speed interceptors used either to defend capital ships from slower ballistic missiles, or catch rather fast fighters. The other two are multi-role high explosive. 4th: Hoo, been a while since I built either GAIA or space fighters, so I figured I'd have a go. Glad I did, had a load of fun making this one, and the end product is almost two pounds in weight! Even though GAIA fighters don't have any particular colour scheme, I couldn't resist that red and blue!
