Star Wars Balance of the Force Chapter 15 Prisoners . 3 days after the events of Chapter 14. After the newly resurrected Darth Vulnero’s assault on the Jedi Temple is foiled when Vince Yond’Ull, a descendant of the Jedi who killed Darth Vulnero, is abducted by a new mysterious Sith... . (Vince awakened in a dark, cold room he quickly shot up as a man stood outside his cell)
Warden- So our sleeping Jedi is finally awake. I was beginning to think you’d gone off and died on us. Ha! Ha! What a pity that would be.
Vince- Where am I?
Warden- You are at Camp XV-9a, the premier Separatist prison, for high level targets such as yourself, and if you have any delusions about escaping look to your right.
(Vince reels back in horror at the sight of the skeletal remains of a Jedi)
Warden- Ha! Ha! Ha! As you can see no one escapes from this prison.
Vince- But what do you want me for?
Warden- I don’t care at all for you, but Count Dooku has deemed you of quite some importance, and you will be held here until further notice.
Warden- Oh, and just so you know any attempt to escape will result in your immediate…termination. And no one is coming to save you, as far as the Jedi know you're just another...casualty of the war-just another dead Jedi. Ha! Ha! Ha!
(The Warden walks to the prison command center where the Sith who abducted Vince awaits him)
Mehendrish Sinn- I trust the prisoner is secure.
Warden- Most certainly, He won’t be going anywhere.
Mehendrish- I hope not for your sake. He may be just another prisoner to you but If he is harmed when I return…
Warden- I assure you he will be taken care of.
Mehendrish- I don't need him "taken care of" need him broken. This boy will join the Sith or our war could fail. I will return with Count Dooku in three days time. Make sure the boy is broken to our will, and ready to embrace the Dark Side.
(Coruscant, The Jedi Temple)
Karlo- So that’s it then. I have a brother?
Boris- Yes, and not just any brother, you and Vince Yond’Ull are twins. You’d never tell from appearances but it’s true.
Yoda- When a young boy you were, taken away for training Master Juon-Sai did. However, left behind young Vince was, deemed not to be force-sensitive he was. To mold you completely into his image changed your last name Master Juon did.
Boris- As you know a Jedi cannot have any attachments, however... It seems your parents were killed not long after you were taken away, Janax Narr killed them and Vince was raised by an uncle on Tatooine who was also killed by Dagnah the Hutt.
Yoda- The only hope for the Jedi, your brother and you are. Sending a task force to rescue him you will lead. Your master Alinta, accompany you she will, and an old friend we are sending as well.
(Ban Kazi and Selkves, the shaman of the Uneker people and servant of Juon-Sai enter)
Ban- I believe you two know each other.
Karlo- Selkves? What are you doing here?
Selkves- Master! I have been offered to be trained in the ways of the force, but I have not forgotten my oath. I Selkves pledge myself to serve you master.
(The Prison. Vicne examines the corpse and finds a rusted lightsaber hidden within the Jedi’s robes)
Vince- Well here goes nothing. Hey, guard!
Guard Driod- Wha-
(Vince quickly activated the lightsaber, cutting through the lock and droid)
(The Control Room)
Security Droid- Sir! We have a disturbance in Sector 7!
Warden- Impossible! Put it on screen!
(In a hallway Dark Jedi Hazar Lamus cuts through Battle Droids)
Hazar- Where are you Jedi! You can’t hide forever!
Warden- Blast! I knew that Jedi was trouble! Commander send a squad to stop this- Wait…Is that a...Door Breach!
(Suddenly the door blasts open and Karlo, Selkves, and Alinta enter and quickly dispatch the guards)
Warden- Blast it all! The whole galaxy’s gone mad! I’ll deal with you Jedi!
Karlo- I don’t think so!
(He heaves the holo-projector at the warden knocking him unconscious)
(Hazar enters holding his lightsaber to Vince’s neck)
Hazar- Looking for someone Jedi!
(Hazar reaches out his hand and Selkves, Alinta, and Vince freeze in place)
Karlo- What have you done!
Hazar- I have put them into stasis, so they will not interfere with our duel. I promised that I would kill you and I intend to do it! And after you're dead nothing will stop Darth Vulnero!
Karlo- Don’t you realize that Darth Vulnero won’t stop with the Jedi, He’ll turn on you next!
Hazar- Enough talk! We will duel now as it was always meant to be and the victor will decide the fate of the galaxy!
(Hazar attacks first slamming his blade against Karlo’s)
Hazar- Your skills have improved padawan, even with your mechanical hand!
Karlo- You’ll find I’m full of suprises!
(Karlo strikes at Hazar’s legs who parries the attack)
Hazar- You’re good boy, our master trained you well!
(Hazar blasts Karlo with the force)
Hazar- Unfortunately, not even he was a match for the power the Dark Side has given me!
(Karlo stumbles back to the ground as Hazar goes for the kill)
Hazar- And now you die Jedi, just like our master!
Selkves- No quite scum!
(Hazar quickly spins around and slashes Selkves across the chest)
Hazar- I should have killed you long ago, savage!
Hazar- Now where-
(Hazar spins around to face Karlo but is impaled just as he does)
Karlo- Now you see that the Dark Side leads only to death, and finally I have avenged my master.
Karlo- Selkves…I’m so…
Selkves- No master… no sadness… I am glad to have fought aside the Jedi… I Selkves, the last shaman of Uneker…have fulfilled my mission...my life for yours...
Alinta- Karlo you’ve done well padawan, and now I’m pleased to introduce you to your borther Vince Yond’Ull.
Vince- What?!
Karlo- It’s a long story, but in short we’re the only ones who can defeat Darth Vulnero and restore Balance to the Force.
Alinta- We’ll fill you in on the way to Korriban, with any luck there’s still time to stop that madman.
(later in the command center)
Warden- Count I apologize…there wasn’t anything I could do! The Jedi…
Dooku- Don’t concern yourself Warden, Vince Yond’Ull is better with the Jedi then dead.
Dr. Rastem- And those Jedi left behind much more valuable information, soon my project will be finished and the Jedi destroyed!
Dooku- One step at a time Doctor. Mehendrish lead a force to Korriban, once the Yond’Ull twins have killed Vulnero, kill any Jedi you encounter, and personally see to it Kasamir is killed!
