Why?
VDS Amphibious Combat Solution . After ages of letting the amphibious subdivision of VDS receive little to no funding, a revival has stirred the aforementioned sector: the Amphibious Combat Solution (ACS). The desire for this vehicle, or upgrade kit moreso, derived from the fact that there are many nations that cannot afford new vehicles to support their growing militaries, but rather require more advanced upgrades as time presses on. The ACS is aimed at replacing or upgrading those vehicles falling into the Soviet BTR family of vehicles and combines the latest and greatest of everything into one, inexpensive package. Armed with a 30mm chaingun and one 127mm fire-and-forget ATGM, both assisted by a semi-autonomous fire control system, the ACS is capable of fighting its way to shore and supporting its seven dismounts. The air filtration and engine feed come from the same articulated snorkel in the rear of the vehicle. There are also two hatches for the dismounts and two for the crewmen in the front of the craft. . ACS scaled with the vehicle crewman. Rear hatches open. Front hatches open. Note: Sorry for slapping the gun, y'all. It doesn't droop normally.
