Why?
Witch King Sword . . The Witch King, or Lord of the Nazgul is the leader of the Nazgul (Ring Wraiths). This is his sword, built like all my others, 1:1 scale. Stats: Overall length: 54in (137.16cm) Blade length: 40in (101.6cm) Handle length: 14in (35.56cm) Estimated Crossguard length: 12in (30.48cm) I don't have much to say about this weapon other than it's long, it actually has a unsharpened spot near the cross guard where you can put your hand on it. So I found a picture or two of this sword with flames, and decided to make a flaming version. I first attempted to make Lego® flames, but found it tedious and hard to get the pieces to go where I wanted. I decided GIMP would give me better results. The picture above is my first attempt. It looks ok, but I like the picture below way better. Thanks for looking! Tell me what you think of the flaming sword.
