Lego F1 2012 . Lego F1 2012. This car is a refreshed version of my 2011 car, and has many of the features that this year's crop of F1 cars have. . Side profile. Intimidating head on view. This engine cover is new - the slot at the back is for cooling. Both arial views show how much the bodywork tapers to a point at the rear. The super high noses are gone for this year. Here's a closer look at the new stepped nose. New extended floor and plank. A look at the strakes on the lower part of the rear wing. Closer look at new underside of monocoque and tea tray splitter. Also visible is one of the new side vanes on the sidepod. All of the major parts that can be removed from the car. A look at the updated monocoque. A full size minifig fits completely. Profile of monocoque. I've kept the blade style roll structure and airscoop from last season.
