The Phantom of the Opera . "Some of you may recall the strange affair of the Phantom of the Opera, a mystery never fully explained..." . For your enjoyment, please listen to the Overture while viewing this MOC: Phantom of the Opera has always been my favorite musical. What's not to like about it? It's got great music, a touching story, brilliant characters, great music, awesome costumes, great music, gorgeous set designs.... and did I mention great music? I've always wanted to recreate some of my favorite moments from the show in LEGO® form, so I've been busy lately working on the figures. My main goal with this project was to give the characters the same qualities of the real life actors, while adding the charm of LEGO®. I've also been experimenting with various lighting effects that may return in future MOCS. "I am your Angel of Music... Come to me, Angel of Music..." "In all your fantasies you always knew, that man and mystery were both in you..." "And in this labyrinth where night is blind..." "The Phantom of the Opera is there inside your mind..." "Sing for me! Sing my Angel of Music!" THE CAST Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny and Christine Daae Carlotta Giudicelli and Ubaldo Piangi Monsieur Firmin and Monsieur Andre Madame Giry and Meg Giry The Phantom, Erik Bonus shot of a Pepper's Ghost effect. Notice the ghostly skeleton within the phantom!
