The Throne of Bones . . For years the Dragon Knights had been hunted by the Lion Kings and then for a time, the fierce Knights were all but forgotten. King Leo had turned his attention to other more pressing matters… Cedric the Bull, the plundering Vikings from across the sea, the undead legions of the Lich King’s Skeleton Horde, the Orc insurgents of the plains, and the Dark Dwarven Militia who controlled the mountains to the north. But what King Leo did not foresee was the ascension of a new foe from the ranks of the fallen Dragon Knights – Sir Draco Drusaud, who after forming allegiances with both the Dwarves and the Lich King, swept across the lands leaving nothing but char, ash, and blood in his wake. After laying waste to the King’s Castle, the conquering Knight’s first order of business was to order the construction of a Throne of Bones to be built from the severed heads and limbs of his foes. The skulls of King Leo and Queen Leonora were positioned high into the back of the throne so as to bear witness to their former subjects swearing allegiance to the new King. “All hail King Drusaud. Long may he reign!”
