Why?
Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! . An hour-long weekly radio news panel game show produced by Chicago Public Radio and National Public Radio. . Not so long ago, September 17th to be exact (listen to the limerick section), I was a listener contestant on the NPR news game show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! hosted by Peter Sagal with announcer Carl Kasell. Now, I'm sure this doesn't mean much to the vast majority of you, but for me, it was a great thrill. Well, it turns out that Peter actually is kind of a fan of Lego and even attended Brickworld 2011 where he was very impressed by Kevin Walter's Barad-dr, among other things. We struck up a conversation and he invited me to a taping (actually the third I attended this year). Of course I wanted to build him something Lego, so Angus MacLane's CubeDude style seemed the perfect medium. With a little help (thanks Devon), I came up with these builds and presented them to Peter and Carl, who were very appreciative. Mr. Peter Sagal Mr. Carl Kasell Blamous!
